A man who towered above the rest,

A man who was unafraid of facing arrest,

A man who for his country spent five years in prison,

A man whose spirit no force could dampen,

A man who excelled as a lawyer,

A man who stood up against a fascist ruler,

A man who believed in the Gandhian ways,

A man who remained a liberal till his last days,

A man who was respected and admired by his peers,

A man who delivered justice without favour or fear,

A man who was the epitome of poise and dignity,

A man who never compromised on morality,

Freedom-fighter, intellectual, advocate, judge,

Who deserved more recognition than that he got,

A life worth living, for us a role model,

Shri. P. J. Mulgaonkar, we will forget you not.
